As such we are looking for a passionate Risk & Fraud Analyst to join our brand-new team here in Malta

Responsibilities

– Processing and generation of alerts via the anti-fraud system
– Create manual alerts for fraud detection
– Generate and analyze department reports
– Detect fraud at all levels (identity fraud, multiple accounts, bonus fraud etc)
– Investigate and monitor customer behavior patterns and changes to detect fraud and money laundering
– Monitoring of customer transactions
– Handle customer AML risk status and categorize accordingly
– Filing of internal Suspicious Transaction Report to the MLRO
– Develop and keep updated the Handbook and other related department policies
– Contribute to improve the fraud reporting, operational processes and procedures
– Provide expertise and assistance to other departments within the organization
– Make sure that our systems are secure to mitigate risk scenarios
– Work closely with verification department to make sure all documentation related to customer payment methods are in order
– Other daily office tasks

Requirements

– Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a risk & fraud or payment setting in the iGaming Industry, financial services or banking, e-commerce and other relevant industries
– Knowledge of how fraud or money laundering can occur within an online gaming industry
– Familiarity with AML regulations (4th EU AML directive, MGA and FIAU guidelines)
– Fluent in English, both written and spoken (fluency in another language will be considered as an asset)
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office and tech-savvy
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and social skills
– Excellent investigation techniques
– Time management skills
– Ability to work on own initiative and a team player
– Flexibility to work shifts, including weekend and Public holidays
– Ability to work under pressure and within a dynamic, multi-cultural environment
– Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and data security standard
