As such we are looking for a passionate KYC Verification Analyst to join our brand new team here in Malta.

Responsibilities

– Processing of KYC documentation (both Simplified and Enhanced Due Diligence)
– Create and process system alerts relating to PEP, Sanction List and Adverse Media
– Generate and analyse department reports
– PEP and Sanction List screening via internal and external sources
– Investigate and monitor customer behaviour and changes
– Handle customer AML risk status and categorise accordingly
– Filing of internal Suspicious Transaction Report to the MLRO
– Develop and keep updated the KYC Handbook and other related department policies
– Contribute to improve internal system processes
– Handle email communication with clients
– Provide AML and KYC expertise to other departments within the organization
– Make sure that customer documentation is up to date with the customer risk assessment and parameters set by the regulator
– Other daily office tasks

Requirements

– Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the iGaming industry or any similar environment
– Fluent in English, both written and spoken (fluency in another language will be considered as an asset)
– Experience in document checking
– Familiarity with AML regulations (4th EU AML directive, MGA and FIAU guidelines)
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office and tech-savvy
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and social skills
– Excellent investigation techniques
– Time management skills
– Ability to work on own initiative and a team player
– Flexibility to work shifts, including weekend and Public holidays
– Ability to work under pressure and within a dynamic, multi-cultural environment
– Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and data security standard
